RT Convention Hotel Prices

I was just looking at the prices for rooms at the Bonaventure! W.O.W.! $339 a night for the cheapest rooms. I know it's LA, but that's really out there. Does anyone know if RT gets a price break on rooms for convention goers? I kow RWA does, but never been to RT before. I'm excited to go...and don't want to spend a lot of time running around from location to location in LA traffic, so staying at a different hotel is not really an option I want to consider. Have to see if I can afford this before I register. :roll:

RT well get special rates. It won't be near that price. It well be more like and this is before tax. $126 single, $136 double, $146 triple, and $156 Quad. that is why it is cheaper to room with others. Jo Carol should have the 2011 RT Convention web site up and running in the next month or so.

That is so good to know! Now I can afford it! Woo Hoo! LA here I come! I have family and friends in the area, but wanted to stay at the hotel--you lose so much traveling back and forth. Besides, after 50 years in Long Beach, I know what the traffic is like, and honey, you can have it!

No problem at all. Hey I can't blame you for wanting to stay at ther hotel even though you live near. with all the free goodies you'll get, it is nice to have a place to keep them. I've been to LA a few times, I know it's crazy

While, we'll probably get the RT rate, these rates are not set in stone. We don't know how much the room rates will be, but I'm sure if RT couldn't pull it off they wouldn't be having the convention in the hotel.

So lets just wait and see...
