Her Against the Law was the Kindle Book Deal today and it looks good, although it's part of a series. Has anyone read the series and how is it?

I am reading Against the Wind right now. My sister suggested it, and it's good. She said the Against the Sun (I think that's it) is really good, and I looked it up and it's a nominee for 2012 RT Romantic Suspense award. I'm just on page 60 of ATW, so not too far in.

I haven't read Kat Martin in a while. I've read her historicals from long ago, but not anything recent.

I'm enjoying her Against series but then I'm a Kat Martin fan girl for her historicals.

Its been awhile since I read KM. What's the heroine like in this book? Fiesty, modern or shy?
