I am not following this series anymore but I do really want to read this book.

I think the cover is amazing, although I would have loved to see the long black hair and wrap around sunglasses. Still, I can picture this guy as Wrath.

What do you think?

Heather--I read the first few books of the BDB series and did not hate them, but the cast of characters got too big and I lost interest. Like you, though, I also want to read 'The King'.

From the neck down, this guy is impressive, but, from the neck up, he is not at all how I pictured Wrath. I see him as being more mature and rugged, not a 'pretty boy' like this fellow is.

Not at all the face I pictured. I think of Wrath as older with a more rugged and impressive face. This guy's face looks like he is 18 yrs old.

Love all the BDB books. I can't wait to get this book!

I pictured him to be a lot more rugged/mature

My feelings exactly! Also, Wrath (to me) is bigger physically. This guy, although he's hot, looks kind of puny LOL. Maybe it's the chair being too big! Can't wait for the book.

Still LOVE this series, the COLOURS in the cover are FABULOUS! , but you are right he needs his sunnies!

And his head is not as I picture, this is where I think that full faces can ruin the cover somewhat. I'd rather have a HINT of the character as opposed to a full view. Half face, shadowed, etc.

But again I agree, Wrath in my mind is somewhat more of a larger presence, bodily and energetically. And this doesn't quite convey that feeling. But the colour is bang on.

Maybe it's pre-trans Wrath.

March is too far away for this book!

I agree with you all that the model is too small and not rugged enough to be Wrath.

Marking my calendar to make sure I pre-order this book. March is a long way off.

Definitely a book I will buy. However, the cover model isn't even close to how I picture Wrath. He needs his shades and a real bad boy look, and older than this model, that's for sure. I'm sure it will be a wonderful book though.

I hope it's a few months before release, as I still have the last one to read!

Rugged is the WORD! The more I look at this cover the more I think this guy is totally NOT Wrath!

I've always picture Wrath as having a long lean, almost graceful build, slimmer and not bulked up muscles and I am always picturing him with the tattoos that flow down his arms.

I do like the colours though.

You know, the more I look at it...it's the smirky kind of smile that I don't like in the picture. I don't think about Wrath looking that way and I never think about him without sunglasses on either. It's throwing me off too.

Actually, the guy looks more like he would be...what's his name...Lash?? That evil smarta$$ that kidnapped John's wife.

Bigger, darker hair and wrap around sunglasses...just someone that is very dangerous, important and powerful.

This guy looks like some smara$$ teenager...a little rooster.

I stopped reading the series a while ago, but last year I went back into it. I still mostly skim rather than read word-for-word. I'm curious about the characters, but I'm frequently annoyed by the slang, etc.

Nevertheless, I've pre-ordered The King.
