This book is the first in a trilogy (I think) called Scandal in the House of Russell. I loved it. The Rake (Adrian) is swoonworthy with wonderful green eyes. The heroine (Bryony) is the oldest of three sisters who have become impoverished after someone cheats their father out of his livelihood and then kills him. Bryony is scarred on one side of her face from smallpox. You have to love a hero who see the beauty in her. Obviously, it's an historical. It's sensual -- the kind of book that seduces the reader while the heroine is being seduced. I just finished it and need a cold shower LOL.

Thanks for letting us know. I'll be picking this one up. I enjoy Anne Stuart's writing.
