This is the 3rd installment in her Thunder Point series. I loved the storyline. The heroine, Devon, is an escapee from a Warren Jeffes kind of cult with the long braids and uniform dress (although in this case I don't think it was a prairie dress). The romance, however, between Spencer and Devon wasn't there for me. I think it was pushed a little too quickly. Probably because the book was so full of characters from previous books. Still I enjoyed it so I'm talking about it here rather than in the Roundtable. I hope RC continues this series the way she did The Virgin River series. I would love to see Eric's story.

Reflect upon your present blessings - of which every man has many - not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some. Fill your glass again, with a merry face and contented heart. Our life on it, but your Christmas shall be merry, and your new year a happy one! -- Dickens
