Happy Memoiral Day for those of us who celebrate this holiday. Take a few moments and give a thanks to all our military (all over the world) who have given their lives to for their country.

No big plans for us this weekend. Nice long relaxing weekend in which I hope I get in plenty of reading in.

I read new author Tracy Solheim -- Game On -- OMG nice and hot - love it and I'm looking forward to the other books in this series. I must be on a sports kick because I also just finished Curveball by V K Sykes -- loved it and it was nice and hot also. I'm thinking of starting the new Julianne MacLean book next.

Any plans this holiday weekend -- what are you reading.

My church has it's carnival this weekend so besides that and a family picnic, there won't be a whole lot of time left for reading. The weather is supposed to be lovely but a little cool. OK by me.

I just finished Dan Brown's Inferno and enjoyed it to a point. My review will be on the Reader's Roundtable because I wouldn't exactly call it a Fave. Today I will start Dead Ever After by Charlaine Harris. This maybe another book that won't be exactly a Fave.

I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow -- always a chore since I never know what to do with my hair. Hopefully the cut will keep me from looking like I have cotton candy on my head LOL.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

I am in the middle of Dan Brown's Inferno and hope to finish it this weekend. Like Linda, I am not that crazy about it.So far, the action takes place in too small an area for me.
I hope to start Jeffrey Archer's book 3 (of 5) Best Kept Secret. I might get in some series med. roms- I need my fix of that.

Hi All,

"If He's Tempted" by Hannah Howell (5/13) is what I'm reading now. I've not read any of the others in the Wherlocke's series so hopefully this one will stand alone fine.

This week finished....

"True to the Law" by Jo Goodman (5/13)
[Bitter Springs - 2]
(A/A- Warm)
1889, Wyoming Territory
Schoolteacher - Detective

I had just started that one when the AAR review went up with the rating of (A Kisses). I wonder how many sales were made or lost because of that erroneous sensuality note. There are at least 4 descriptive love scenes (I refer to Chapter 7, Chapter 10 and Chapter 12 for example).

Hope you and yours have a safe and happy holiday weekend and may God Bless our Military, past and present.

Happy weekend everyone, and Happy Memorial Day. Thank you to all who've served and given their lives!

I finished reading Moon by Laurann Dohner last night. It was the most recent book in the New Species series. It was reasonably good.

I really am not sure what I'm going to read yet this weekend. With vacation rapidly approaching, I'm thinking about holding Lover at Last until then, and maybe a few others that I've been waiting to read.

We have a swim meet tomorrow that will probably keep us busy all day. I'm trying to talk my husband into a movie tomorrow night since we haven't seen one in ages. I'm thinking either Star Trek or the new Hangover movie. I have a feeling with him...it'll be the Hangover...I'll probably have to get my brother to see Star Trek or wait for pay per view.

Sunday will be my "work" day...work if I have to, do laundry, etc. Monday we're hanging by the pool at my mom's and having a fish fry.

After looking at what I have in my Nook, I think I might read either Lush or Tart by Lauren Dane. If I'm lucky maybe both!

Have a great weekend all!

It is going to be a nice quiet week end. Most of the family went up to camp this weekend and I have decided to stay home. Too cold to be camping right now. So, I will stay home and read under my nice blanket. I am reading one of Kat Martin's Against the Wind and am liking it so far... I have some of the other "against" books and have them lined up to read soon.

Have a nice holiday weekend everyone and very happy reading.

She just released the second in the series. Hubby and I stayed at a B & B a few days ago and I really enjoyed it. Itwas my first B & B experience and can't wait to go back.

Thanks for telling us about the site -- I ordered some stuff or my husband's army union.

I hope that everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend. It started off with a very rainy Friday and Saturday, but finished beautifully. It was a nice 74 degrees today. I wish we had weather like this through the whole summer. But, by the end of the week, it's going to feel like July. Yesterday, I worked out at the gym and had a nice 2-mile walk with my friend. But, man, am I feeling it today. At least I know that I'm doing something right.
Today I went to my cousins for a BBQ. It was a nice and relaxing day. My chocolate lasagna was a hit :D

I did manage to read a couple books this weekend. I started Juliana Gray's The Affairs by Moonlight Trilogy. I finished A Lady Never Lies and A Gentleman Never Tells. I really liked them. I thought it was a great debut series from her. It's the first time I've read a series where all the stories are happening at the same time, but we see it differently through the eyes of each couple. I'm looking forward to see what Wallingford and Abigail get up to in A Duke Never Yields.

I'm late to the party too. I read Homecoming, by Lacey Baker and it was very good. Nice to find a new to me author.

It rained, was in the 50's for the entire 3 day weekend. I guess we should be thankful it didn't snow again, like the 16" we got on May 2. The crappy weather did give me the opportunity to get caught up with stuff around the house. These last two weeks of working full time to train for my new on call job have not allowed me time for housework. Stating this week, I am down to my on call hours and thankful the extra hours are behind me!

Looks like today was an awesome new book Tuesday, from the downloads on my Kindle and UPS delivery from Amazon. Now all we need is nice weather, so I can sit outside and read!

Everyone have a great week!
