I've read all of Ms. MacLean's books and loved everyone of them. Love the quirky heroines and the awesome heroes. Love the emotion she brings out in me via her books. That being said I have to say her lates One Good Earl Deserves A Lover surpasses them all. I've never before felt so much deep heartfelt emotion from reading a book before. Been in tears reading this book, happy tears and sad ones. Pippa and Cross are amazing together. Going to hate to see this book end. Just going to have to bide my time until the next book comes out which is Temple's story.

Thank you for your post. I already bought the book but have been reading others first. I just might move it to the top of my TBR pile now :)

I love Pippa and Cross.

It really is good. I didn't read the first book in this series and I am thinking of downloading it and reading it before Temple's book. Is it as good as this book?

I just read this one and really enjoyed it. I thought the basic premise was ludicrous -- two weeks before her wedding, Pippa approaches a man who is basically a stranger to her (although known to her brother-in-law and sister) and tells him she requires "ruination" and wants to make a scientific study of all matters related to coitus, except of course that she doesn't want to HAVE sex with him since she is engaged to another. Crazy.

But I loved the characters. I thought they were adorable and endearing and lovely and yeah, lots of emotion between them. I wish I could have more about them. Maybe they'll get some page time in the next book. (When is that one due out??)

(The cover of No Good Duke Goes Unpunished features a redheaded heroine. http://macleanspace.com/wp-content/uplo ... forweb.jpg I wonder if it's Worth...Penelope and Michael's housekeeper.)

The next book in this series comes out August 27th, the name of the book in No Good Duke Goes Unpunished, Temple's story.
