Hi ladies. I found this on another website and thought someone here may be able to help. I know I've read something very similar, but I didn't like it so I gave the book away unfortunately. Also, in my mind the boy is around 5 to 8 and he can sense the demons, so he knows when they are coming.

A woman has a small child, a boy, and the baby has powers. The woman is divorced and an angel is sent down to help her, I believe to avoid her ex-husband. I think her ex is a demon or something. Not sure when it was written but it takes place in modern times. I think there was even a sequel. Also the book had a lot of humor in it.

Rebecca Zanetti had a book with a similar story line; can't remember which one though.

Jess, I ran a search at Fictiondb and this is the only book that came up.

Can't Teach an Old Demon New Tricks by Cara Lockwood (4/10)

You found the one the OP was thinking of!! How about that for some research skills :D

From the OP:

""Can't Teach an Old Demon New Tricks" by Cara Lockwood is it! My sister and I have been trying to remember/find this for a few years.
Thank you!!"

And thank you from me as well :)

Jess, you're most welcome. Thank you for letting me know the search was the answer for the OP. It makes me feel so good when I've been able to help someone. :D

Now, if only someone will come up with the title of the similar book that is eluding you, all will be perfect.

Thanks again.

I don't think the guy was an angel in the one I read.

I'll do some searches and see if I can't find it :)

Jess, I did another search eliminating the Angel part.

Scanned some reviews and wonder if your book might be part of the Lords of Deliverance series from author Larissa Ione.

Leaning towards "Lethal Rider" since there is a pregnancy involved and it's a boy.

Another author showed up but the child is a daughter, "Demon Crossings" by Eleri Stone (1/12) this is an e-book.

Unless a Keyword comes to you, this is it for me.
