I am having trouble recalling a historical I read a while back.
all i remember is that in the book the heroine promises the hero one kiss everyday anytime and anywhere as his choice.
I also recall that they made love on a pool/billiards table!
Please help me in case this strikes a bell!
TIA

It's definitely a Mary Jo Putney book. I'm trying to think of which one. I believe it is Thunder & Roses.

I believe you are thinking of Devil In Winter by Lisa Kleypas. The hero promises to prove that he can be celibate but only if there is at least a kiss involved anytime and anywhere during that time period. There was a scene regarding a billiards table.
