I found this request of another forum, and it sounds interesting so I hope someone here can solve it.
This is what the OP says

I need help with the title of a historical romance

The heroine is thought to be a witch and in the beginning of the book she is witnessing her friend/mother/aunt/grandma(I don't remember) get killed for being a "witch". She runs and hides in a tent. In the tent is a man(the hero) and a prostitute and she makes the prostitute go out.
She pretends to be a ***** inside the tent because she's afraid of being kicked out of the tent by the hero otherwise(she's afraid the witchhunter will get her).

Any ideas?

I took the liberty of posting your book search on Amazon's Romance message board.

Here are some suggestions from helpful readers:

DEVIL'S MISTRESS by Heather Graham

THE WITCH AND THE WARRIOR by Karyn Monk
