Looking for a historical or PNR historical by probably Patricia Rice. The H/H is imprisoned together and they come to a situation where they need to relieve themselves. So they take a turn at the chamberpot and the other sings/whistles while he/she is doing it.

I think I remember this book or at least one similar. I'll have to check my books.

Yes, but was there a peeing incident? I doubt it was HH but if u give me the name of a specific book, I will check it out.

The only thing else I remember about the book is I believe the heroine is blonde but am not 100% sure.

Highland Lover is where H/h in the same cell together. Not sure about that scene but it sounds familiar.

That was the one I thought it could be also. If that's not the one the original poster was wanting I hope we can find out which one it is.

Maybe...

MOONLIGHT MISTRESS by Patricia Rice -1985, Medieval

Acclaimed as "a reader's delight," national bestselling author Patricia Rice delivers this spellbinding tale set in England's distant past--a story two people bewitched by desire and bound by a madwoman's deception...

EVERYTHING LOOKS BEAUTIFUL...
Orphaned Aelvina Fairfax has survived every challenge of war-torn England--until her faithful nurse and only friend Thyllda falls ill near the castle of the Lady Ravenna, a reclusive widow rumored to be a witch. Frightened and desperate, Aelvina goes to Sir Philippe St. Aubyn, seeking protection for herself and Thyllda in exchange for one night of passion in his arms. But bliss soon turns to despair when Aelvina wakes to find herself alone--and carrying Philippe's child...

...BY MOONLIGHT
Sent to reclaim Dunstan Castle from Ravenna in the name of King Henry II, Philippe is unaware that both he and Aelvina are pawns in Ravenna's dark scheme. And when the ravishing young beauty who fulfilled him like no other vanishes without a trace, he refuses to believe she existed only in a dream. Now, Philippe will not rest until he rescues Aelvina from a sorceress' wrath--and is joined with her in a love that can defy all obstacles...

P.S. Heroine has silver hair and the hero and heroine may have been imprisoned together in that book.

Maybe someone who has read the book can verify.

This is not it. Still gonna check out the Howell altho I am doubtful thatis it either.

Giving it more thought, this might be Georgian, Regency, or even Victorian even tho I kind of implied that it sounds like a medieval.

And I dont know if its the same book but this might have a Beauty and the Beast type theme. I dont think the hero was goodlooking or something was off with his looks. There might be some sort of deception involved with his identity but again am not 100% sure.
