Just finished this book- LI June 2010. It is wonderful-funny and also very moving and triumphant. this debra Clopton is very special. I want to get other Mule Hollow books in the series. The heroine, who has a prothesis leg and is tormented by not being able to have children is one of the best characters in current stories. And the hero recovering from a plane crash is in a wheelchair for a while is also wonderful. The town and his family are an added treasure. Gail

get them all and read them in order! some are funnier than others but characters show up in the diffrent books.The one you just read is probably one of the more serious ones she has. I liked some a whole lot and some not as much but I like the town setting and seeing the characters show up book to book.

Gail, I loved this one too. I didn't get into Mule Hollow books until right before this one and I was so looking forward to this story. It is not only on my keeper shelf, it is about to go on my bedside table for a quick read when I need to sigh!
